In early January, 2021, our restoration expert Kenny left his shop in Simi Valley, CA to bring Valhalla to us in Dahlonega. Unfortunately, mid-way through his trip, there was a death in his family. So - given that Valhalla spent the last 30-40 years in Oklahoma prior to the restoration, it was only fitting that we made arrangements to have her dropped off in Oklahoma. We drove out to Broken Arrow to pick her up. We had a chance to head to Oklahoma City for a night so Aunt Marilyn and her daughter, Tiffany and her family and the "other" Shawna could visit us in the trailer. After a few days celebrating Chauna's grandmother's 95th birthday (Covid safely!), we made the drive back to Dahlonega and have located her at the R-Ranch which is a beautiful location in north Lumpkin County. Let the adventures begin!
So exciting that Valhalla is finally HOME!!! Can’t wait for many fun family outings. Already enjoyed preparing dinner at the campsite the other night!
